Farmiga, Pugh Join Marvel’s “Hawkeye” Series

With filming underway, the upcoming Marvel Studios “Hawkeye” series at Disney+ has filled in a couple of key roles.

Joining leads Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld are major stars Vera Farmiga and Florence Pugh along with Fra Fee (“Les Miserables”), Tony Dalton (“Better Call Saul”), newcomer Alaqua Cox, and Zahn McClarnon (“Doctor Sleep”).

“Conjuring” star Farmiga will play Eleanor Bishop, the mother of Kate Bishop (Steinfeld). Pugh will reprise the role of spy and assassin Yelena Belova, the sister of Black Widow which she plays in the upcoming “Black Widow” film.

Fee will play Kazi, likely short for Kazimierz Kazimierczak who is a mercenary villain named Clown. Dalton will play Jack Duquesne, likely Hawkeye’s early mentor Jacques Duquesne/Swordsman. Cox will play deaf Native American hero Maya Lopez/Echo while McClaron will play her father William ‘Crazy Horse’ Lopez.
