Warner Bros. Pictures has announced that the first trailer for “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore,” the third of five planned films in the ‘Potter’ spin-off series, will go online on Monday.
To promote the launch, a 2.5 minute clip has been released serving as a retrospective look at twenty years of fandom surrounding the “Harry Potter” property.
That clip ends with a 20-second or so tease of footage from the new film including a first look at Mads Mikkelsen taking over the role of the villain Gellert Grindelwald from Johnny Depp along with brief glimpses of other characters like Jude Law’s “hot Dumbledore”.
“Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” will be released in cinemas on April 15th 2022.
