“Fallout Shelter” Becomes A Reality Series

Bethesda Softworks

A new report indicates that Amazon Prime Video, so far very happy with the success of its scripted series adaptation of the “Fallout” video games, is expanding that franchise.

The InSneider reports that a new reality competition series is in the works, which will serve as something of an adaptation of the game “Fallout Shelter”.

Jonathan Nolan (“Westworld”) is reportedly executive producing the series alongside the main “Fallout” show.

Production is said to be targeting a start next year, with those taking part needing “to build and manage their own vaults, keeping their vault dwellers ‘alive'”.

Like with the game, which launched in 2015 for mobile devices, they will have to provide them with food and resources to keep them happy and healthy.

The news comes as the second season of “Fallout” is being rolled out on Amazon, with the second episode launching yesterday. New episodes run through until early February.
