Chinese singer-actress Fala Chen (“The Undoing,” “Moonlight Resonance”) has reportedly been set for a key role in Marvel Studios’ “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”.
Chen is tipped to be playing the role of MI6 Agent Leiko Wu, an ally of the titular hero. She joins a cast that includes Canadian actor Simu Liu as the hero alongside Awkwafina, Tony Leung and Florian Munteanu starring.
Dave Callaham wrote the script and Destin Daniel Cretton is attached to direct. The project had begun some basic filming in Sydney when the coronavirus pandemic shut everything down. The film has now been pushed back to May 7th 2021.
