Paramount+ has set a June 20th premiere date for the second season of its acclaimed psychological thriller series “Evil” which moves to the streamer following a first season run on CBS.
The series follows forensic psychologist Kristen Bouchard (Katja Herbers), who joins soon-to-be Catholic priest David (Mike Colter) and contractor Ben (Aasif Mandvi) to investigate the church’s mysterious happenings and determine if there is a logical explanation, or if it traces back to the supernatural. Michael Emerson, Christine Lahti and Kurt Fuller co-star.
In the new run, Kristen struggles to confront the dark side of herself after killing a man, David is met with temptation and Ben’s night terrors prey on his greatest fears. The thirteen-episode second season will release episodes each Sunday exclusively on the Paramount+ service.
The series is produced by “The Good Fight” alum Robert King and Michelle King along with Liz Glotzer and Rockne S. O’Bannon.
