“X-Men” and “American Horror Story” alum Evan Peters has reportedly signed on for a key role in the Disney+ series “Marvel’s WandaVision”.
Further details about his character are under wraps beyond it being a ‘key role’ according to the original sources ComicBookMovie.com
Peters previously portrayed the fan-favorite role of Quicksilver in the most recent three “X-Men” films. Quicksilver is a character who is the sister of “WandaVision” lead character Wanda Maximoff/Scarlett Witch (Elisabeth Olsen).
However, Aaron Taylor-Johnson played Quicksilver in the MCU continuity in which WandaVision is set and in that continuity the character died in “Avengers: Age of Ultron”.
Set in the 1950s, WandaVision will follow the story of Elizabeth Olson and Paul Bettany’s superhero characters Scarlet Witch and Vision in a classic sitcom style as the two super-powered beings live out their ideal suburban lives. They soon begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
Kat Dennings will reprise her role as Darcy Lewis while Randall Park returns as FBI Agent Jimmy Woo. Kathryn Hahn and Teyonah Parris also star.
