Eva Mendes and Rob Zabrecky have joined the cast of the Ryan Gosling-directed “How to Catch a Monster” at Bold Films.
The story is set against the surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city and centered on a single mother of two being swept into a macabre fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town.
Mendes will play ‘Cat’, a prominent figure of the Big Bad Wolf Club. Zabrecky plays a cab driver.
Christina Hendricks and Ben Mendelsohn have already been cast, and filming is slated to begin this May.
