Jennifer Esposito (“Crash,” “Don’t Say A Word”) will star opposite Val Kilmer in “Conspiracy” says The Hollywood Reporter.
The Adam Marcus-directed indie drama has her playing a hardworking single mother of an 8-year-old daughter and the survivor of an abusive marriage.
Her character becomes involved with a wounded special-ops Iraq War veteran (Kilmer) after he arrives in her Arizona town to visit an old friend.
Complications arise when he discovers his friend has disappeared without a trace and no one will acknowledge the man was ever there.
The New Mexico-shot film is co-written by Marcus and Debra Sullivan.
