Epix has renewed its contemporary sci-fi horror series “From” for a ten-episode second season. The series deals with the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter.
The premiere was Epix’s most-viewed original series premiere and the entire series is on pace to be Epix’s second most-watched original behind only “Godfather of Harlem”.
In season two, hidden truths about the terrifying origins of the town begin to emerge, even as life for its residents is plunged into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers. Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster and Ricky He co-star.
The series was created/executive produced by John Griffin and executive produced by famed “Lost” duo Jack Bender and Jeff Pinkner. Production on the new season will commence this summer in Halifax, Nova Scotia ahead of a 2023 airing.
