20th Century Fox Television and New Regency Television are developing an event series based on the 2012 graphic novel “Enormous”.
Set in the near future as the world suffers from a “planetary resource crisis,” an ecological disaster spawns The Enormous, incredibly large creatures who now sit atop the food chain.
A former school teacher named Ellen Grace leads an expedition into the city after losing everything in the uprising. She goes on a quest to find orphaned children, but discovers that not all of the survivors are seeking salvation.
Andrew Plotkin and Adrian Askarieh will serve as executive producers on the series, with a show runner currently being sought. No word on writers or a network as yet.
