Tracking figures for Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Endgame” continue to rise and at this point, just a few days before Thursday night previews rollout nationwide, its box-office numbers are looking phenomenal.
According to Deadline, ‘Endgame’ is well ahead of Infinity War in all categories and demos. Despite the three hour runtime, round the clock screenings and numerous sellouts suggests early estimates of a potential $300 million domestic opening weekend won’t be out of the question, and certainly it’s going to come in ahead of the $257.6 million that ‘Infinity War’ garnered last year.
U.S. pre-sale tickets for the Russo Brothers-directed film have already taken in between $120-140 million at this point with the three big chains – AMC, Regal and Cinemark – currently driving 75% of Endgame’s pre-sales.
The world premiere for ‘Endgame’ is tonight in Hollywood, press screenings kick off tomorrow and reviews are expected up in a little over a day from now.
