Beloved filmmakers Edgar Wright (“Baby Driver,” “Hot Fuzz”) and David Lowery (“The Old Man and the Gun,” “A Ghost Story”) have just seen their newest films being extensively pushed back.
Wright’s psychological horror tale “Last Night in Soho” has been pulled off the release schedule by Focus Features. Originally slated for September 25th, it will now open sometime in 2021.
Lowery’s Dev Patel-led medieval fantasy film “The Green Knight,” which was targeting a theatrical release on May 29th, has now been delayed film indefinitely.
This follows on from comments earlier this month from Lowery who says “no one knows” when the film will get released or even if it’s going to go straight to VOD.
