Eastwood Begins Shooting His Last Movie?

Warner Bros. Pictures

93-year-old filmmaker Clint Eastwood has been spotted in Georgia directing and producing “Juror #2,” what many are labelling his final film since word broke in THR back in April he wanted “one last project in order to be able to ride off into the sunset with his head held high”.

WSAV has posted photos of Eastwood at work on 40th Street, the actor/filmmaker seen with film crew. The project’s leading star Nicholas Hoult can also be seen in the shots.

Hoult, Toni Collette, Kiefer Sutherland, Leslie Bibb and Zoey Deutch star in the film which unfolds during a murder trial.

One of the jurors is a man named Justin Kemp who has a serious moral dilemma – he realises he killed the victim in a reckless-driving accident.

Now he must sway the jury verdict to try to save the innocent defendant – all without incriminating himself in the process.

This will mark Eastwood’s fortieth film as director in a career that has yielded films like “Unforgiven,” “Mystic River,” “Gran Torino,” “Million Dollar Baby,” “American Sniper,” “A Perfect World,” “The Outlaw Josey Wales,” “Letters from Iwo Jima,” “High Plains Drifter,” “Heartbreak Ridge,” “True Crime,” “Firefox,” “Play Misty for Me,” “Absolute Power,” and “The Bridges of Madison County”

The movie will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. Should Eastwood confirm this is it, then the film could potentially be marketed on the fact of it being Clint’s “final film”.
