MGM has unveiled a brief teaser trailer for “The Addams Family 2,” a follow-up to last year’s CG animated box-office hit based on the beloved cartoon strip turned famed sitcom and acclaimed 1990s live-action films.
In addition, Bill Hader and Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton have joined the cast which will see returnees Oscar Isaac as Gomez, Charlize Theron as Morticia, Chloe Grace Moretz as Wednesday, Finn Wolfhard as Pugsley, Nick Kroll as Fester, Bette Midler as Grandma, and Allison Janney as arch-nemesis Margaux Needler.
Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan direct from Matt Lieberman’s screenplay based on Charles Addams’ iconic cartoon series. The film opens in cinemas around Halloween next year.
