After the Xbox website made a bit of blunder this morning by letting the title slip, Electronic Arts has now had to announce “Star Wars: Squadrons” – a new title from the publisher. In addition, the company has confirmed the game’s reveal trailer will launch this Monday, June 15th at 8am US-PST.
This will mark the first of EA’s “Star Wars” video games to be a vehicle-focused title. Once a regular occurrence for the series back at LucasArts, it has been over 17 years since a new title with that focus been released.
“Star Wars: Squadrons” will also mark the first EA “Star Wars” game following last year’s “Jedi: Fallen Order” which received high critical acclaim and sold more than eight million copies by January.
