“Send Help” and “The Maze Runner” actor Dylan O’Brien has scored the lead role in the Hulu comedy pilot “Lex”.
The story follows Lex (O’Brien), a disgraced former reality star who accidentally films a murder in the background of a $20 Cameo video.
He soon finds himself at the center of a global conspiracy – and on the run from powerful forces who want him dead.
Using the skills he acquired navigating reality TV’s toxic social dynamics, Lex must fight to not get killed, to expose the truth, and most importantly… to get back on TV.
O’Brien will also executive produce the pilot alongside writer Sean Clements and comedy veteran Paul Simms. The project marks O’Brien’s first series role since his memorable debut as Stiles Stilinski in MTV’s “Teen Wolf” series.
He has made guest appearances on numerous shows, including “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “New Girl” and “The Other Two”. O’Brien recently came off a celebrated turns in “Twinless” and “Saturday Night”.
