It has been a busy day of brief sequel teases.
First up, Timothée Chalamet has shared a new photo taken from the set of the Denis Villeneuve-directed “Dune: Part Three” which is in production for much of the back half of this year.
The film will see Chalamet reprise his role as Paul Atreides for a final time, and is due out in cinemas in December next year.
Next, Kristen Bell has confirmed that the cast will shortly begin recording on the third film in the “Frozen” animated movie musical franchise at Disney.
Bell, who plays Anna, tells Variety she has seen the script for the movie but hasn’t heard any of the new songs for the film which is due out late 2027. Previously we saw concept art of Elsa (Idina Menzel) on a white horse and Anna on a brown stag.
Where things stand right now, Bell says: “It’s all mostly like concept stuff in the beginning like, ‘Here’s where we think it should go’. That’s the one great thing about Disney is it goes through a thousand filters, not to be diplomatic, but because everyone’s going to add something different. That’s why the movies plays so well because they hit every single mark because nothing has been missed.”
Next, Warner Bros. Pictures has updated the official “Evil Dead” film account with a brief video from the set of “Evil Dead Burn” which has just wrapped production.
Sébastien Vaniček directs the film opening next Summer and the video shows someone repeatedly beating something with a large object while screaming.
Souheila Yacoub, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Tandi Wright, George Pullar, and Erroll Shand lead the cast of the film.
