“The Gifted” series actress Emma Dumont has been set to play the title character in director Rob Cohen’s new comic book adaptation “Razor”.
Everett Hartsoe’s comic follows Nicole Mitchell, a young woman who was ten when she witnessed her cop father’s murder by a gang of upwardly mobile crime figures who seek to thwart his investigation.
The trauma puts her in an asylum for a decade during which time she develops a complex plan of revenge on the murderers. She becomes the superheroine Razor, characterized by a suit equipped with razors on her arms.
Jeff Most, Grant Cramer, Anna Wang, Christopher Milburn and Philip Lee will produce.
