Adam Driver, Nathalie Emmanuel, Forest Whitaker, Laurence Fishburne and Jon Voight will all star in Francis Ford Coppola’s long-gestating passion project “Megalopolis”.
The nearly $100 million self-funded film sees the fate of Rome haunting a modern world unable to solve its own social problems in an epic story of political ambition, genius, and conflicted love.
More specifically it’s based on the Catiline Conspiracy and will deal with the beleaguered mayor of New York during a financial crisis. Coppola pens and directs the film which originally sought Oscar Isaac for the lead role.
