“The Martian” scribe and “Bad Times at the El Royale” writer/director Drew Goddard is set to write and executive produce the animated comedy series “The Trenches” for FX.
A pilot order has been handed out for the half-hour project which follows a modern family of monster hunters. 20th Television Animation and Floyd County Productions (“Archer”) are behind the project.
Goddard and Sarah Esberg will executive produce the series which joins the network’s animated roster of titles like “Archer,” “Little Demon,” “Dicktown” and “Cake”.
