“Dragon Age: Dreadwolf” Keeps Delaying

The release of BioWare’s highly anticipated fourth “Dragon Age” game titled “Dragon Age: Dreadwolf” just “keeps getting pushed back” according to a new report.

Giant Bomb reporter Jeff Grubb revealed that according to his unnamed sources, the game was once being considered for release in September this year.

However, its target release window was then delayed to March 2024, and now it’s claimed to come out next summer “at the earliest” with Grubb suggesting it’s likely to be pushed back even further – probably to early 2025.

There have been behind-the-scenes goings on at the EA-owned developer recently, with the company aiming to cut approximately 50 roles as part of a “shift towards [becoming] a more agile and more focused studio”.

In March, it was revealed some of the team working on the new “Mass Effect” had been drafted in to assist with the development of this game – which has the side effect of lengthening the new “Mass Effect” game’s development.

The company remains steadfast to deliver a new “Dragon Age” game which is aiming for the same high quality as previous titles in the series.
