Jamie Dornan (“Fifty Shades of Grey”) and Sam Claflin (“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”) have joined the cast of the 1970s London-set character-driven action thriller “Borderland” film from director Brian Kirk (“Luther,” “Game of Thrones”).
Dornan plays a member of the IRA whose wife is accidentally shot dead in Ireland. He takes over an Active Service Unit in London with their mission to cause as much chaos and destruction as possible.
As the same time, he’s on the hunt for his wife’s killer – an SAS captain (Claflin) who is also hunting him. Ronan Bennett (“Public Enemies”) penned the script with filming to begin this Summer in Dublin and London. Chris Coen, Rebecca Brown and Alan Moloney will produce.
