Karan Soni and Leslie Uggams will reprise their “Deadpool” roles for the upcoming third entry.
Soni played taxi driver and wannabe vigilante Dopinder whilst Uggams plays Wade Wilson’s housemate Blind Al. Both had small roles in the first film and expanded ones in the second.
They’ll join a cast that includes returnee Ryan Reynolds along with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Emma Corrin, and Matthew Macfadyen.
“Deadpool 3” is being written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick from a previous draft by “Bob’s Burgers” duo Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin.
The project is expected to remain an R-rated film like the first two movies, making it Marvel Studios’ first movie with a mature rating.
“Deadpool 3” is currently scheduled to release on November 8th 2024.
