Another day and several more Marvel rumors have cropped up.
First up, Sony’s Olivia Wilde “Spider-Woman” movie. That project was first reported on back in 2020, then stuck in development for years and then seemingly paused last year (along with all Sony’s Marvel films) after “Kraven the Hunter” bombed.
Now, DanielRPK (via CBM) is reporting that film has been scrapped altogether and indicates Sony is now more open to sharing its characters with Marvel Studios – meaning some Spider-Man related characters that would’ve been Sony films may show up in future “Spider-Man” and Marvel films.
The scooper also indicates that Marvel Studios is reportedly eyeing “Stranger Things” star Joe Keery for a role in the MCU, though no word on what that part might be.
Meanwhile scooper John Campea is claiming that the upcoming “Avengers: Doomsday” won’t have an explanation as to why Victor Von Doom looks like Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), that particular issue reportedly won’t be addressed until “Avengers: Secret Wars”.
“Avengers: Doomsday” is currently screening a fourth teaser trailer in cinemas with “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” that clip is expected to go online on Tuesday.
