New art has premiered for upcoming second season runs of two popular genre streaming series – “Doom Patrol” and “Umbrella Academy”.
First up, new character art for “Doom Patrol” confirms the series will premiere June 25th on both HBO Max and DC Universe. All fifteen episodes of the first season are already available on both.
The members of the Doom Patrol now find themselves mini-sized and stranded on Cliff’s toy race car track. There they begin to deal with their feelings of betrayal by The Chief (Timothy Dalton), while confronting their own personal baggage.
And as each member faces the challenge of growing beyond their own past traumatic experiences, they must come together to embrace and protect the newest member of the family: Dorothy Spinner (Abigail Shapiro), Niles’ daughter, whose powers remain a mysterious but real threat.
Next comes character posters for a second season of “The Umbrella Academy” which returns to Netflix in full on July 31st. Specifics of the new season’s story aren’t clear.
