Andrzej Bartkowiak (“Doom,” “Romeo Must Die,” “Exit Wounds”) is set to direct the $16 million Carribean-set action adventure “Beneath the Deep” for Hannibal Productions says Variety.
The story follows a group of tourists in search of an underwater adventure in the Caribbean. When natural forces strand them in a vacation spot from hell, they must contend with unexpected visitors that view them as intruders and a threat to their own survival.
Armand Speca penned the script and will produce with Richard Rionda Del Castro. Shooting kicks off in March in Puerto Rico.
