“Wanted” director and “Searching” producer Timur Bekmambetov has come onboard to adapt a feature version of Julian Terry’s horror short “Don’t Peek”. Majd Nassif will produce.
That short follows a young woman discovering a frightening monster within the Nintendo Switch video game “Animal Crossing: New Horizons,” a character intent on crossing into the real world.
The project had its world premiere at SXSW Online and can be seen below. It is a follow-up short to “They Hear It” which is set up at Legendary, and “Whisper” at Amblin”.
