Don Cheadle has optioned Hannah Rose May’s Image Comics title “Rogues’ Gallery” with plans to adapt the project into a TV series.
A high-concept home invasion thriller, the story follows actress Maisie Wade who has just quit her role as a massively popular comic book character named Red Rogue on a TV superhero series.
After her abrupt exit leads to the show’s unceremonious cancellation, she finds herself trapped in her own home by a group of unhinged superfans dressed up in cosplay of her character’s arch villains.
These toxic fans want to teach Maisie a lesson, and if she is to survive the night, she must become the hero she has grown to despise.
May will serve as an executive producer alongside Cheadle, Karyn Smith-Forge and This Radicle Act.
