Dodd Replaces Stokes On Bridgerton
Netflix

Hannah Dodd (“Anatomy of a Scandal”) will take over the role of Francesca Bridgerton in the third season of Netflix and Shondaland’s Regency-era period drama series “Bridgerton”.

Dodd replaces Ruby Stokes who guest-starred in the role in the first two seasons, and shooting begins this summer in London on the new run.

The character had just two appearances in the first season and only popped up in the first three episodes of the second. She is expected to take center stage in a potential sixth season should the series go that far.

Stokes meanwhile is committed to play the lead in Netflix’s adaptation of Jonathan Stroud’s “Lockwood & Co.” books. Dodd will soon be seen in the “Enola Holmes” sequel also on Netflix.
