Long running British dramedy “Doc Martin” is coming to an end, actor Martin Clunes and the ITV series will come to a close in 2021 with a tenth and final season.
Clunes plays Dr. Martin Ellingham, a GP with a brusque bedside manner and a phobia of blood who lives in the idyllic hamlet of Portwenn in Cornwall. The series first premiered in 2004.
Dame Eileen Atkins, Caroline Catz, Ian McNiece, Joe Absolom, John Marquez, Jessica Ransom and Selina Cadell co-star.
The series airs on Acorn TV in the U.S. and production on the final episodes kicks off next year.
