Anthony Ruivivar (“The Haunting of Hill House”), Brandon Jay McLaren (“The Twilight Zone”), and Jeremy Maguire (“Modern Family”) have been set as regulars and Becca Tobin (“Glee”) will recur in the Disney+ series reboot of classic 1989 buddy-cop comedy “Turner & Hooch”.
They join Josh Peck, Lyndsy Fonseca, Carra Patterson and Vanessa Lengies in the series. Matt Nix (“Burn Notice”) serves as showrunner on the project which has received a twelve-episode order.
Peck plays Scott Turner, an ambitious and buttoned-up U.S. marshal who inherits a big unruly dog and soon realizes the pet he didn’t want may be the partner he needs.
Ruivivar will play Turner’s boss, McLaren as a marine-turned US Marshal and Turner’s mentor, Maguire as Turner’s nephew, and Tobin as a federal prosecutor and Turner’s ex-girlfriend.
