Disney Pictures is reportedly working on a feature film about Figment, the small purple dragon mascot of Epcot’s Imagination Pavilion in Orlando, Florida.
Created in 1983, Figment is the “embodiment of the imagining process” and has had brief cameos on film before in “Toy Story 4” and “Inside Out”.
Seth Rogen’s Point Grey company (“Pam & Tommy,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem”) will produce while “Pokemon: Detective Pikachu” and “The Addams Family 2” scribes Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit are set to write.
No director or production schedule is currently set.
