The Disney+ sequel series to the “National Treasure” film franchise has scored a name in the form of “National Treasure: Edge of History”.
The story focuses on 20-year-old Latina-American DREAMer Jess Morales (Lisette Olivera) who sets out to uncover the mysteries of her family’s history.
The ten-episode series also stars Justin Bartha, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jordan Rodrigues, Zuri Reed, Jake Austin Walker, Antonio Cipriano, Jacob Vargas and Lyndon Smith.
Details are expected to be revealed during Disney’s slate at Comic-Con in a few weeks. The title is one of numerous to be teased by Disney at the fan confab with panels just announced for “Mayans MC,” “What We Do in the Shadows,” “The Orville: New Horizons,” “Abbott Elementary,” “Koala Man,” “Solar Opposites,” “Bob’s Burgers,” “Archer,” “Little Demon,” “The Great North,” and “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Dinosaur” among others.
