Disney has announced that it has handed out second season renewal orders for its “Monsters Inc.” original spin-off series “Monsters at Work” along with “Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life”.
Both are expected to arrive on the streamer in 2023. In addition, third season renewals were granted to “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends” and “Mickey Mouse Funhouse”.
New shows announced include an animated series inspired by Disney’s popular music-driven movie franchise “Zombies,” and two half-hour series slated for 2024 – the spooky comedy “The Doomies” and the heavily serialized epic adventure anime series “Dragon Striker”.
Finally it was revealed that Florence Kasumba, Kehinde Bankole and rapper Nasty C will lend their voices to the Disney+ series “Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire”. The announcements were made at the currently underway Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
