Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer have acquired screen rights to David Ignatius’ geopolitical thriller novel “The Increment” reports Variety
The title refers to a shadowy, elite group of British undercover intelligence operatives who are conscripted by a CIA agent to help a weapons scientist defect from Iran.
Ignatius wrote the 2007 novel “Body of Lies” which has been turned into a Ridley Scott-directed thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe opening later this year.
