Robert De Niro and Edward Norton will star in “Stone” reports Production Weekly.
Based on a play by Angus MacLachlan (“Junebug”), De Niro will play a parole officer who develops a friendship with a teaching assistant.
John Curran (“The Painted Veil”) helms the project which kicks off shooting in May.
Norton and DeNiro previously teamed on 2001’s well-received heist thriller “The Score”.
