“Grey’s Anatomy” actor Patrick Dempsey has confirmed that he has signed on to reprise his role of Robert Philip in the “Enchanted” sequel “Disenchanted” at the Disney+ streaming service.
Speaking as part of a recent interview with Good Morning America, Dempsey also confirmed he “just got this script for the second movie, and then I’m starting to go through and get notes together”.
The original followed Amy Adams as Giselle, an animated woman who fell out of her fantasy world and discovered herself stuck in real-life Manhattan. At the end of the first film, he marries Giselle.
Shooting on the new film aims to begin in the Spring and comes over thirteen years after the original’s theatrical debut.
