Demi Moore is set to join the cast of Taylor Sheridan’s new Paramount+ drama series “Landman” which just began production around Fort Worth, Texas.
Set in the boomtowns of modern-day West Texas, the series deals with those seeking or holding their fortunes in the world of oil rigs.
The show is based on the eleven-part podcast “Boomtown” and is said to be an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and billionaires fueling the boom.
Moore will play the series regular role of Cami, wife to one of the most powerful oil men in Texas and a friend of Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton).
Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Mark Collie and Paulina Chávez co-star. Christian Wallace serves as executive producer alongside Sheridan, David C. Glasser, ​David Hutkin, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari​, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman and Stephen Kay.
Moore can currently be seen in the second season of Ryan Murphy’s anthology series “Feud: Capote vs. The Swans” and Coralie Fargeat’s first studio film “The Substance” alongside Margaret Qualley.
