Netflix has premiered the official trailer for the horror anthology series “Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities” which is unleashed on October 25th.
F. Murray Abraham, Rupert Grint, Andrew Lincoln, Essie Davis, Luke Roberts, Hannah Galway, Demetrius Grosse, Ben Barnes, Crispin Glover, Peter Weller, Sofia Boutella, David Hewlett, and Eric Andre star across the show’s various episodes.
del Toro serves as creator, executive producer and co-showrunner of the series which aims to challenge our traditional notions of horror with tales of the macabre, magical, gothic and grotesque.
He created original stories for two of the episodes, while two others will serve as adaptations of H.P. Lovecraft stories. Notable filmmakers involved include Jennifer Kent, Vincenzo Natali, Ana Lily Amirpour, Catherine Hardwicke, Panos Cosmatos, David Prior, Keith Thomas and Guillermo Navarro.
The eight-episode series will release two episodes per night from October 25th-28th.
