Though production has wrapped, there are no official images from “Bill & Ted Face the Music” at this point. However, there’s been a whole bunch of behind-the-scenes set photos with most of them focused on Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves returning as the titular musicians.
Now the film’s co-writer Ed Solomon posted another today, one offering a first look at William Sadler who returns as Death and who is seen pictured getting some lunch from craft services whilst in full make-up on the New Orleans set. Sadler first played the role in “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey” and in this one is said to be chasing down our two heroes as they attempt to write the most important song in the universe.
Anthony Carrigan is playing the film’s villain which is rumored to be Death Jr. who is hunting Bill & Ted against his dad’s wishes. Jillian Bell, Samara Weaving, Scott Mescudi, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays, Amy Stoch and Hal Landon Jr. co-star while Kelly Carlin will undisclosed role honouring the legacy of Rufus (played by her late real-life father George Carlin).
“Bill and Ted Face the Music” opens in cinemas August 2020.
