“Dawson’s Creek” Duo Set To Reunite

ABC, Peacock

Former “Dawson’s Creek” stars Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson are set to reunite onscreen with “Happy Hours,” a new film trilogy that both will star in while Holmes will also write and direct.

The character-driven dramedy follows two people who were young loves who reconnect as adults.

The pair navigates their relationship through the challenges of careers, family responsibilities, and the pursuit of love, despite life’s inevitable obstacles.

Mary-Louise Parker, Constance Wu, Joe Tippett, John McGinty, Donald Webber Jr., Nathan Darrow, Johnna Dias-Watson and Jack Martin will co-star.

Filming begins in New York City this summer, with the second and third installments scheduled to follow closely after.

Holmes directed indie films “Rare Objects,” “Alone Together”, and “All We Had” and recently guest-starred on the second season of “Poker Face”.

Maven Screen Media, Bond Street Station, Crown Productions and STX Films are backing the project with Celine Rattray, Trudie Styler, Peter Coleman and Paula P. Manzanedo producing.
