Pete Davidson, Franz Rogowski, Naomi Scott and Sean Harris are set to star in celebrated Australian filmmaker David Michod’s next feature “Wizards!” at A24 and Plan B.
The story follows two hapless pothead beach-bar operators (Davidson and Rogowski) who run into trouble when they stumble across stolen loot that they really should have just left alone.
Michod penned the script based on a story he co-created with Joel Edgerton. Liz Watts, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner will produce and filming will take place in Queensland, Australia.
Michod previously helmed “The Rover” for A24, and both “War Machine” and “The King” for Plan B. A24 and Plan B’s three prior collaborations were major awards contenders – Oscar Best Picture winner “Moonlight” along with “Minari” and “The Last Black Man in San Francisco”.
