David E. Kelley (“Boston Legal,” “Big Little Lies”) and Melissa James Gibson (“House of Cards”) are teaming to adapt author Sarah Vaughan’s international best-selling novel “Anatomy of a Scandal” into an anthology series for Netflix.
A six-episode series order has been handed out with Kelley and Melissa James set to serve as writers, executive producers and showrunners. The series is said to be an insightful and suspenseful drama about a sexual consent scandal among the British privileged elite and the women caught up in its wake.
TV veteran S.J. Clarkson, who has just signed on for a female-led Marvel project at Sony, will direct and executive produce all six episodes of the series with production to take place in the UK. Each season will tackle a different scandal.
