Comedian Dave Chappelle will make a return visit to “Saturday Night Live” as host of next week’s episode airing on November 12th.
Chappelle takes the episode, which follows a few days after next week’s U.S. mid-term elections at federal, state and local levels. Rap duo Black Star will join Chappelle as musical guest.
It’s not unfamiliar territory for Chappelle, who hosted the post-election episodes in 2016 and 2020.
However, this is the first to air in the wake of his 2021 Netflix special “The Closer” which hit controversy with claims of its use of homophobic and transphobic language.
