StudioCanal and Abandon Pictures are considering a remake the 1975 French film “Le Sauvage” says The Hollywood Reporter.
Catherine Deneuve starred in the screwball comedy as a woman seeking to escape her engagement. Yves Montand also starred as a middle-aged man who helps her and finds that he can’t get rid of her.
Karen Lauder and Lizzie Friedman will produce. The company recently produced a remake of the cult 1970 British film “And Soon the Darkness” which gets released later this year.
