Following a brief tease a while back, the first full trailer for the fourth season of Netflix’s “The Crown” has arrived and promises some dark and serious times ahead for the Royal Family.
Here we get a better look at Gillian Anderson as U.K. Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Emma Corrin as Lady Diana Spencer with a heavy focus on them and Josh O’Connor reprising his role as Prince Charles.
A surprisingly ominous trailer, the clip also sees Olivia Colman back as Queen Elizabeth II, Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret and Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip in the new episodes which begin in the late 1970s and unfolds across the 1980s.
The award-winning drama series is scheduled to return on November 15th.
