In some not so surprising news, Marvel Studios is moving forward with a “Daredevil” series for Disney+ service.
“Covert Affairs” creators Matt Corman and Chris Ord have been set to write and executive produce the series, the first of the Netflix Marvel shows to score a revival at their new home.
“Daredevil” proved to be one of the most popular outings from the streamer and lasted three seasons with actor Charlie Cox playing blind avenging attorney Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil.
Signs of its return began last year when the actor reprised the character for a cameo in “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” while the show’s main villain Kingpin (“Vincent D’Onofrio”) showed up on “Hawkeye”.
However no formal announcement about a cast has been released and it’s not clear if this will serve as a minor reboot or a straightforward fourth season.
