“Daredevil: Born Again” Season 2 May Delay?

Marvel

Fans of Marvel Studios’ “Daredevil: Born Again” are growing concerned that the show’s second season may be delayed.

At last report, Disney has already scheduled a March 4th 2026 premiere date for the show’s second season – the title arriving exactly a year after the first season debuted on March 4th this year.

Today, The Direct reports that Disney’s internal press page for the title has removed the specific season’s specific release date information – pulling the March 4th 2026 date in favour of a generic 2026 one.

The Marvel and Disney+ websites both currently say the show is coming in March 2026, but not a specific date within that month. There has also been no official announcement from Marvel regarding a potential delay.

Filming on the show’s second season wrapped on July 9th so the second season has been in post-production for months now with a third season to shoot early next year.

Much of the core cast from the first season return, though recently it was confirmed Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle/Punisher will not be part of the new run – though will return in both a standalone special and in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” with both of those releasing next year.
