A promo photo of Charlie Cox in his new black “Daredevil: Born Again” suit has gone online.
The photo is one of several promo shots from the upcoming season that have gone online via MCU Scene with others including the more traditional red suit, along with shots of Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle/The Punisher.
The black suit, with its red DD logo, is new for the second season, which launches in March next year. The suit was already glimpsed in various set photos that have been swirling around from location filming.
The shots follow word back in September that Marvel has officially given the green light for a third season to be shot next year.
The series was one of the most anticipated Marvel releases in some time, and while critics and audiences seemed to be mixed-positive on that initial run earlier this year, the title struggled to get in the Nielsen streaming Top 10.
Whereas that first season was somewhat cobbled together from already shot episodes, the second season will be entirely the work of the current showrunner and thus go much darker.
Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Wilson Bethel, Deborah Ann Woll and Krysten Ritter are all expected to appear in the second season run which will air March 2026.
