Daniel Kaluuya will not be in the upcoming “Black Panther” sequel “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” opening this Fall. In the original film Kaluuya played T’Challa’s best friend W’Kabi who was also the husband of Okoye (Danai Gurira).

Currently out doing promotional rounds for Jordan Peele’s thriller “Nope, Kaluuya tells Rotten Tomatoes that he had to back out due to scheduling conflicts with “Nope”.

The ‘Panther’ sequel was plagued by setbacks that saw delays in filming both before and during the shoot. Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett and Dominique Thorne star.

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is still currently dated for November 11th 2022.
